Methodology
Macrobulletin is built on a transparent research workflow designed for repeatability.
Research workflow
- Source collection: Primary sources first (official releases, filings, central bank statements, exchange data).
- Cross-checking: We compare at least two independent references for material claims.
- Interpretation layer: We separate facts from interpretation and clearly label scenario assumptions.
- Decision framing: We convert findings into practical implications and risk triggers.
Source standards
- Prefer primary over secondary sources.
- Link sources directly when possible.
- Mark uncertainty when data is incomplete.
Update policy
- Major updates get a timestamp and note.
- Substantive errors are corrected with a visible correction entry.
- Time-sensitive posts may be revised as markets move.
Citation format
Each analysis should include a short source block:
- Source name
- Publication date/time
- Direct URL
- Why it matters
